How to Wash and Revive Bath Towels
Over time, your soft bath towels may become scratchy and stiff after laundering sometimes leaving an unpleasant smell. Many factors can cause this, however, most notably it is a result of hard water. Detergents and fabric softeners can also play a key role in causing your towels to lose their “like new” feeling due to build up on the cotton fibers. We are happy to provide you with our time tested remedy that will breathe new life into your favorite towels.
Step One: Wash your towels in hot water with a cup of white distilled vinegar.
Step Two: Run again in hot water with a half-cup of baking soda.
Do not add laundry detergent to either wash. Dry towels with no fabric softer sheets. This process will strip your towels from all residue and remove that musky smell, leaving them feeling soft, fluffy and smelling fresh.
